In partnership with Saint Alphonsus Regional Cancer Center and staff, we use a multidisciplinary approach to every patient to ensure you are getting the best cancer care and the most state-of-the-art medical, radiation and surgical treatment.
ROBOTIC ESOPHAGEAL CANCER SURGERY
Dr. Reising was an early adopter of the Da Vinci robot for performing all esophageal cancer surgeries. Robotic surgery is superior to traditional or laparoscopic surgery because it provides improves visualization and more precise movements. This leads to less tissue trauma, blood loss and pain and results in shorter hospital, fewer complications and more complete surgical resections with higher lymph node harvests.
